How much does SaloSpa cost?

N$149 per bookable chair a month, capped at a flat N$1,499 once you reach 10 chairs. Reception and managers do not count, so you only pay for the chairs that earn. Every feature is included on every plan. There is a one-time onboarding fee to set you up - N$499 for a single chair (Solo), N$699 for two (Duo), N$899 for three (Trio), N$1,499 for four to nine (Crew), and N$2,499 for a 10-plus-chair studio - and your first month is free.

Is there a free trial?

There is no trial to expire. Instead you pay a one-time onboarding fee and your first month is free, so you can try the whole system on a real account before any subscription starts.

Do you take a cut of my bookings?

No. You pay one flat monthly fee. We never take a percentage of your bookings. Everything your clients pay stays with you.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. SaloSpa works on any normal Android or iPhone. The calendar, checkout, and client list all run from your phone, so you do not need a computer at the front desk. You can also add it to your home screen and open it like a normal app.

How do WhatsApp and SMS messages work?

Every bookable chair includes a bundle of message credits each month (1 credit is 1 WhatsApp or 1 SMS) for confirmations and reminders. Booking confirmations and login codes go out on WhatsApp first, with SMS as an automatic backup. If you go over the bundle, extra messages are billed at low per-message rates: SMS N$0.55 per 160 characters, WhatsApp from N$0.85. Login codes and email receipts are always free.

Can clients book online without calling me?

Yes. You get your own booking link, like salospa.neishot.com/your-salon. Put it in your Instagram bio or send it on WhatsApp. Clients pick a service and a time, and you get a text letting you know. They get a confirmation by text and email.

Can clients cancel their own bookings?

Yes. Every confirmation message has a cancel link the client can tap. When they cancel, the time slot opens up again and you are notified. You can also stop very last-minute cancellations by setting how far ahead a client must cancel.

I have chair renters. Does SaloSpa handle that?

Yes. Chair renters show on the same calendar and clients can book them online. Their earnings are kept separate from the rest of the salon. You can charge them a fixed rent or a share of what they make, whichever suits your arrangement.

My salon is not registered for VAT. Is that a problem?

Not at all. You can switch VAT off completely, and your receipts will show no VAT. If you register for VAT later, just switch it on and enter your number. From then on, VAT is added to receipts and invoices automatically.

Can I take card payments?

You can record card payments at checkout so your daily totals are correct, and cash and bank transfers (EFT) are fully supported. SaloSpa does not yet charge the card for you, but built-in card payments are coming soon.

Can I run more than one branch?

Yes. Multiple locations are included on every plan. Each branch has its own booking page, staff, and opening hours. You can look at the numbers for one branch on its own, or all of them together.

How do I send offers and reminders to my clients?

From the Marketing section you can send a text or email to a group of clients you choose, for example everyone, recent clients, clients who have not been in for a while, or clients with a birthday this month. Birthday greetings and gentle reminders to clients who have not visited can also go out on their own automatically.

Can I change the wording of the messages my clients get?

Yes, and it is simple. In Settings you can edit each message (confirmation, reminder, receipt, and review request) in plain language. To drop in details like the client name or the date, you just tap a button and it gets added for you. Leave a message as it is and we use a sensible default.

What reports do I get?

You get a dashboard showing your takings and appointments for the day, week, month, or year, plus reports for staff pay and commission, VAT, money earned per service, stock value, and daily cash-up. Every report can be downloaded as a spreadsheet.

How long does it take to get started?

Most salons are up and running in 10 to 15 minutes. You add your salon name, services, staff, and opening hours, and your booking page is live straight away. You can take your first online booking the same day.
